Consistency !

Some thoughts to ponder in the great debate.

Over the last 10 games, Leicester are 14th in the form table and have scored 12 goals. Over the same period last season, Southampton were 11th on form with 11 goals.

Over the last 5 games, Leicester are 16th on form with 4 goals and Southampton were 15th last year with an incredible 3 goals!

Just reflect on who else was struggling for form last season with 10 games up to match 36. Swansea were 13th and falling, Stoke 14th, West Ham 15th and West Brom 19th.

Read into this what you will but you can see why fans turn against Puel and why we should be concerned for next season.

how does our points tally from last season compare someone said on the radio on saturday that we had the same number of points at this time last season when we where 12th?

We finished last season on 44 and have 44 points again this year.

My point was very much about the trend, which I would see as a concern.

After recent performances I have had some horrible flash-backs to the Peter Taylor era. I just checked the stats from the 2000-1 season - we won just four out of the last 19 games, finishing 13th with 48 points. Of course, we were relegated the following season and soon entered administration. No wonder a lot of supporters are nervous with the current state of affairs (me included). UTF

Indeed - no doubt due to all the hapless backstabbing players who were deliberately trying to make one of our greatest ever managers the sack.

Just think where we might have ended up if they'd actually tried to play for Peter Taylor!

"Nev would of backed Taylor to the hilt."
Taylor was a nice guy not a good manager and had to deal with players like Walsh and co players that where coming to the end of their time at Leicester and where hanging on for grim death sound familiar? But anyone who signs Junior lewis on such a long contract that he see's it out rather than take a massive pay drop.

You might of noticed players are not kean to leave LCFC like for most managers the only way is down from here.
How many of the winning EPL team are going to go on to other Premier league teams let alone a team higher than us in the League? Only the likes of Cante (only visiting LCFC ) and Drinkwater and what has he done. So if Vardy or Marhez fancy leaving then they might the rest are going down.

How about trying to sign Buckand for £30m how much is Kasper worth?

Would absolutely love Butland Nev.

Despite his challenging season, still think he might be beyond us. If not, I’d take him over Kasper.
