Ordinary Arsenal?

With the money that the likes of Citeh and Chelsea are able to throw about combined with the prestige and class of Man U and now maybe Liverpool's ability to genuinely compete in most competitions; are Arsenal in for a period of becoming an 'ordinary' top half of the table club with an outside chance of decent cup run here and there?
.
It's already happened for most other clubs (Villa included).
As some people have said, (PL managers included) the divide is getting bigger and lets face it, Arsenal do not have the money to compete. They have a fantastic stadium, history, prestige and football ethos however, how long will it take for this to become just that?
What I mean is, is it time to lower expectations, live with what you have, enjoy probably some of the prettiest football played in the league and accept that as your lot or; do you feel Arsenal are still beyond 'ordinary' with realistic chances of winning the PL, FA Cup, Champions league, etc.

In short, is it time to get real for the time being and allow yourselves to become a sleeping giant, awaiting a decline of those around you or, should the club be sold (to a mega rich Arab for example), manager changed and see the silverware come flooding back?

I still regard Arsenal as a top 6 side. Trouble is that doesn't get you much these days

This is a knee jerk reaction. Majority of the players Arsenal have would walk into any squad in the world.

Arsenal's aspirations have been top 4 for the last 5/6 years. When we drop out of the top 4 I expect our club to collapse.

Arsenals problems are all down to a poor transfer policy, your team had ample time and funds to bring in the quality you need, leaving it to the last minut hurt you, and it has happened before!

this arsenal team is much better then liverpools team, no matter how much money they spend.

I like the part where you said ''the prestige and class of Manchester United''

SB.
To deny it would be ignorant.
Although class I am talking about relates to on the pitch (for the most part). Needs some work in other areas possibly.
