Kinda comical the crowd are acting like they all still love him and want him to stay. Rather than the fact, that they nearly all want him gone.

Ah, so you want Fekir to be dumped out wide where he will be ineffective and pointless....

Basically what I am saying is we should buy players who fit around our key players rather than keep on buying attacking central midfielders...

Fekir has the skillset to play all across the attack. Alexis played centrally for Udinese and often did for Chile too. We've hardly played better football than '07/08 where Rosicky and Hleb were our wide men, even though they hardly looked natural wingers. Pires was hardly a conventional winger.

Hell, even Ozil can play out wide and has often done so for Germany. Did so infrequently in a very successful Madrid spell and did so frequently for Werder Bremen. Nothing stops Ozil himself being shifted out wide to accommodate Fekir. Or getting them to rotate roles.

Ozil can play out wide in a way where he plays more central
Fekir could do the same.
Same result - a team with too many ACMs

Basically why buy a acm who can do a job widw when you can buy wide players
