I'm going to be positive and say that there's no way on earth he'll miss seeing us in a Cup Final.

He won't be at Wembley in body but he'll surely be there in spirit.

Fair play. We can all have a laugh about the actual game itself but when a life is at stake then good to see the vast majority of football fans recognising one of their own.

Looks like the OP has it bang on, the Mail are reporting tonight he’s awake and talking to his friends.

The mail are reporting that 'there is no official update of his condition'. They then go on to say that he is sitting up in bed discussing his condition with his doctors.
