Both clubs have something to play for in the final games of the Premier League season 2018/19. Chelsea are chasing Spurs for fourth position, a Champions League place and Huddersfield Town needing maybe another point to secure another fairytale season. Little ol’ Huddersfield Town were written off by the pundits, a few of them have had egg on their faces. Town beat Man Utd, Man City we’re lucky to get all the points in West Yorkshire against the Terriers earlier in the campaign. Last Sunday, Town were the only team this season to keep a clean sheet at the Etihad stadium! However, Chelsea had a very comfortable win against Huddersfield Town at the John Smith’s stadium, Depoitre grabbing a late goal.

If the Terriers can perform like they did against Man City on Sunday, then they have a great opportunity to gain another precious point. Town are not an easy team to beat. The Terriers issue has been scoring goals, they have not broken through defences enough. David Wagner favours playing a lone striker, as hard as Depoitre and Mounié have tried, the service has not been there. Town have had some solid defensive displays and have managed some matches well. However, Spurs taught Wagner a lesson and from then on Town lost some of their identity. He had the Terriers sitting too far back and let teams have the ball. That is not the Town way!

Chelsea have some great players and they can quickly punish teams if they switch off. However, their form this season has been mixed. If they go in to this encounter thinking they have an easy three points, then they should think again. Huddersfield Town are fighting for their Premier League survival and are prepared to battle, hard!

This fixture could be a cracker, both teams have plenty incentive to win the game. I’ve got a great feeling about this one, a victory to Huddersfield Town.
