I'm guessing there's a thinly veiled dig in that first sentence...

We haven't been near our best, not close to our best performances last season, we've have had six months without our best defender, and a season away from our home

You have been awful though, I'll give you that

Chelsea suffered the biggest fall this season from Title winners under a manager at the top of his game to signing a load of overpriced rubbish and looking like a Europa League team all season.

I mean when you're raiding Arsenal for their 3rd choice striker you know times are tough.
