the curtains closes on our league campaign on Sunday against 2nd place Aberdeen.
It's been far from vintage this season, 24 wins, 10 draws and 3 defeats. Aberdeen infact have won 3 games less than us this season n that includes 6 defeats to us and Rangers so they've shown decent consistency.
7 titles in a row with a cup final to come next week to complete back to back trebles, not sure if it's ever been done before?
However 2nd place is still up for grabs with Aberdeen and Rangers battling it out, Rangers are away to Hibs and need just a point if we beat Aberdeen, Hibs need a 6-0 win to leapfrog them into 3rd
Celtic have won every encounter against Aberdeen since Rodgers took over and with the league trophy presentation taking place after the game you'd fancy us to go out in style (but I wouldn't hold my breath)
Usual rumours circling this week that it'll be a shadow side going out but I'm not buying that at all, I reckon it'll be as strong as Wednesday nights team.
Gordon
Hendry
Simunovic
Boyata
Tierney
Brown
Ntcham
Roberts
Armstrong
Sinclair
Dembele
I'd expect us to keep Lustig fresh for next week and Forrest who looked heavy legged on Wed, Dembele will apparently play from the start and I'd expect Armstrong/Sinclair to play as they've no chance of starting next Saturday.
Predictions -
Celtic 2 - 0 Aberdeen
Hibs 2 - 1 Rangers
Celtic v Aberdeen

Ghod - not convinced tbh.
I think BR would rather we play like we did in the last 2 Rangers matches every week - it's just that the players (most of them) aren't delivering the way they were last season.
see I totally disagree with that, Rodgers seems to enjoy this possession based football, he's already had a few go's at the fans who were demanding we moved the ball quicker
trophy wise yes it's been magnificent, football wise it's been rubbish

I dont think its really been rubbish, i think you might be a little spoilt as it was very good last year. You think the football played this year has been poorer or on par with Deila? Might not be as exciting and a little slower but has it really been rubbish?

There is an element of last year meaning we are far too harsh this year but I've always thought 90+ points in a season means it's a really good season. This year the max we can get is 85 I think so it's below par and to be honest, if you take away the Aberdeen & Rangers performances and one or two elsewhere we've been rotten performance wise.
But , give me that every year with a treble on the cards and 4 OF wins out of 5

NNH
To be honest, what's pashed me off more than our 3 domestic defeats have been the 5 0-0 draws (4 at home) in the past 4 and a half months. Our defence gets a hard time on here, but I think that our attack has been more dysfunctional across the season. You couldn't say that in any of those 5 games we bombarded the opposition and were unlucky

Our home form has been abysmal but what I will say is I am hoping that a better pitch all year round will help. Those 3 months from October to January were embarrassing for us, the pitch was as bad as Fir Park a few years ago.
We could make excuses all day but I think most people are on the same wavelength that we need to be much better next season.
It's a cert we'll play better football next year and end up with just one trophy

I can see half the crowd cheering for Aberdeen
