Final - Ballot balls.. an shambles

We're on our way to Kiev come Friday! Absolutely made up.. fantastic for the club to move what they had to in order to rectify.

A complete shambles.. and as ever it's the fans that get the raw deal.

First of all 16,000 allocation - nowhere near enough as UEFA take 30,000.
There were 200 adult child combo tickets.

Season ticket holders and all those that went to all home matches plus one away could get a ticket in the first round of sales while all those that went to every home match had to enter the ballot.

RITH Jnr and I went in the ballot. All adult child combos had been subscribed so had to apply for "adult" allocations in the ballot. Registered together as a pair and waited for the ballot results to be announced. Which was announced today. Not 08:00, not 12:00 not even 15:00... but facking 19:00 they sent the ballot results.

True to form phone lines switch off around 18:00 so there's nothing you can do, with the sale of tickets starting Monday 08:15..

Result of the ballot, RITH waitlisted at position 7000+, RITH Jnr is successful in the ballot and is guaranteed a ticket (£300-£400). WTH!!!

Some folks had a wait list number of 16000+, I mean what is with that? Also Thomas Cook charter flights (official LFC partner) pushed up the price ahead of the ballot results. Was about £700 yesterday, this morning went upto £950.

Really is a crazy scenario and a complete shambles. Complete shambles.

**Extra Shambles**
While the wait for the ballot was ongoing, some bright spark thought it would be a good idea to run the sale for the live screening at anfield concurrently. That all sold out before the ballot notifications were sent out. So fans that were unsuccessful in the ballot couldn't even buy a ticket to the giant screen event at Anfield.
