Livingston condemned United to another season of Championship football by excluding whatever flicker of hope remained in what should have been a more convincing victory in the play-off semi final.
The fact is that the best team won and to be honest we probably should have been knocked out by the Pars in the previous round. Livi had a bucketload of chances and we rode our luck something awful in all four play-off games.
The silver lining (and I'm stretching here) is that this should be the last time we have to watch a number of these impostors in tangerine.
Under contract next season are:
GKs:
DEF: Edjenguele , Murdoch , Scobbie
MID: Allardice , King , Stanton
ATT: Keatings , McMullan , Smith
So basically we're back to where we were when we were relegated - we need a complete rebuild of our squad. And we're doing it with a manager who we should be getting rid of quite frankly because he's been dreadful.
This is Lazslo's list of 'achievements' as United manager (lifted from twitter):
Laszlo‘s impressive CV. 1st Utd manager to:
lose by 3 to QOS in our history
concede 6 to Falkirk since 51/52
fail to beat Brechin since 59/60
concede 3 to Dumbarton since 74/75
lose at home to Morton since 78/79
concede 4 to Aberdeen since 01/02
Lose at home to Livi since 02/03
However he's been told he'll be here next season.
The new chairman released a rubbish statement saying that immediate action will take place - nothing has happened.
Speculation abounds that a US based consortium is going to take over the club - although it might leave Martin as chairman. I'm not holding my breath.
It's another grim summer for United fans.

That Fraser boy looked alright. Might buy him.

Going to Hearts apparently. Options down south too although he's far too soft to play lower league football in England.

Did you see the challenges going in on Friday? They were doing murders and not getting booked.

Ralston won't make it at Celtic.
McDonald has turned up on a few occasions this season but very rarely. Mohsni is Mohsni. King flatters to deceive and hides most games. Flood was finished about two years ago.
Our experienced players have let us down badly and our younger guys haven't stepped up.
Plus they all hate Laszlo apparently, whose signings have been rotten.
I'm not painting a pretty picture am I?

From the Courier:
It is understood that defenders Bilel Mohsni and Stewart Murdoch have been told they are still wanted, while an offer has been made to injured midfielder Fraser Fyvie.
However, through the exit door is expected to go the likes of Scott Fraser, Scott McDonald, Paul Quinn, Mark Durnan, Jordie Briels, Grant Gillespie, Emil Lyng and Craig Slater, while the loan deals for Harry Lewis, Anthony Ralston and Thomas Mikkelsen have concluded.
William Edjenguele and Tam Scobbie both have a year left on their contracts but they have been told they are free to find other clubs, while captain Willo Flood would be retained but only if he fancied an expanded role to include coaching.

We were top of the league when Fyvie and Fraser got injured just after Christmas. Fyvie didn't kick a ball again and we collapsed.
I'm not saying we'd have won the league if he'd stayed fit but we would have had a better chance of promotion with him in the team.

Ivan, watched the game on Friday really hoping Utd would win. They actually played ok in the first half but the 2nd was extremely poor.
That Durnan is absolutely woeful man, cannot believe he play's at a decent level, hoaching!! Murdoch not far behind and Gillespie and King also very poor. King's final ball is terrible, watching as a neutral it was driving me mad so god know how you were feeling
