I find it a little hypocritical when rival fans criticise our season as we haven't won a trophy, and then you see comments such as the ones on this thread stating that Chelsea could give Poch the resources to... win trophies. Is that an admission that we shouldn'y really be expected to win trophies given our resources compared to clubs such as Chelsea?

Chelsea did not want to back Conte. Dont think they want to spend like to use too.

They spent around £200m in last two transfer windows.

Problem is they bought rubbish

Are Chelsea still looking for big front men who rely on good delivery? They can have Llorente off us, that's about it.

Exactly. A bunch of squad filler in the main. This will always be known as the season Chelsea were linked with:

Edin Dzeko
Andy Carroll
Ashley Barnes
Connor Wickman

DL is set to double his salary to £173,000 per week but as he hasn't won anything here the lure of Chelsea(which I mentioned 2 weeks ago incidentally) might be too great. I hope he doesn't go.

Poch won't join Chelsea because of the rivalry between the clubs. He said he would not join Barcelona ever because of his Espanyol connections

That is totally different. Pochettino was a player for Espanyol. At Spurs he is a manager. Different loyalties.
I believe Ambramovic will sack Conte if he can hire Pochettino.
And he'd pay him a lot more money.
And back him in the transfer market.
Pochettino has been making enough "noises" in recent weeks, that this SUN story has legs. I believe it. In fact, the suprising thing is that its taken this long for it to come out in the open.
Those losses to Juve and ManU hurt. And they happened because he didn't have the personnel to put on the pitch.
I think Poch feels he's gotten as far as he can go in the 4 years with this club unless Levy changes his tune.
I'm with Pochettino on this one. Damned good luck to him - he's done us well. He deserves better than Levy.
