It's amazing to me how in a season we can all agree has been one of our worst (and forgettable) in the last 15 years, we still manage to do something that makes it slightly memorable.
I love this clubs uncanny ability to do that. Sometimes it's memorable for bad reasons (e.g. 2015-16), but it's always something no matter how little. Even 2013-14 which was very ordinary on and off the pitch, it was Jose's first season back, hence I'll always remember it for that alone. It's a gift this club has had the last 15 years that not every club in our station can say. Take Spurs for instance, why'll I'm sure every Spurs fan will look back at this Pochettino period very well in their old age - the exciting young team, establishing superiority over Arsenal, beat Real at Wembley, finally beating us at SB, etc... you get the impression they'll remember these things as part of a cohesive spell in their history rather than each individual season of it. Similar arguments apply to Arsenal & Liverpool's last 10 years in the negative sense (minus this year for the latter obviously).
Whatever happens next season, whoever the manager is, whatever the squad looks like, we can be sure by this time next year we'll have done something (or multiple things) that'll make it one we can look back on as senile old folk and say.... now that's why I loved this club
I Love This Club

Their deluded plastic fans suddenly are talking in glowing references about a club that's actaully even with this win, had a pathetic season where back stabbings were galore.
The manager was shafted from the backside as the fans too, from the off and Conte then huffed and puffed.
Ending the season 5th and without CL for next season.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Couple things :
1) If you read the article properly you'll see I've acknowledged (as will the large majority of Chelsea fans) that we've had a very bad season. Winning the FA Cup doesn't change that (which says a lot about the club these days), but it's given this season one good memory.
2) Not many Chelsea fans will argue the point that Conte has been shafted this season, but by the fans? A significant majority want him gone yes, but that's because we can see he wants to move on, not because it's his fault we've had a bad season. Right up till the end of the season you could still hear 'Antonio' chants from the fans.
3) The irony in us finishing 5th but winning a trophy is that if you gave that option to a Spurs fan next season I'm pretty sure all of you would be very happy with it. Not trying to WUM or being disrespectful, but the fact we're not satisfied with that speaks to the differences between our clubs despite you probably having the brighter looking future atm.

No. Chelsea had 5 shots in 90 minutes. And spent the majority of the game smacking the ball into touch. What about that performance, bar the goal, was deserving of victory?! United were all over them, but just couldn't hit a cow's backside with a banjo.
What United fans said Chelsea were the better team and deserved to win?! Anybody who watched that match would struggle to make that claim
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Stop trying to make some case for Yoonited deserving to win this one pal - they were abysmal, we both were.
The only reason they showed anything in the 2nd half was because at 1 down and they had to.
Had Alonso not took as long over his chance as a Jose post match interview it would have been worse for you, without even without mentioning the obvious penalty for Youngs volleyball set!
You're gash - just accept it!

How standards have lowered as well Brummie, everyone on the United board were saying what a good game Pogba and Matic had ........ffs I didnt even notice Matic on the pitch until the 60 minute and Pogba was terrible throughout.
Seriously if you had Kante and Pogba and asked someone to tell you who was the player who almost cost 100 million and which is the player that cost just over 30 and pretty certain what most people would say!

They're unbelievable 69, how the fack do they manage to try and make a case for themselves 'deserving' to win that.
Had either team lost there could be no credible logic to say they were unlucky!

The trouble is Brum that some sets of supporters feel a sense of entitlement and feel that someone else upsetting that feeling that they have a divine right to just win the prize automatically because they are who they are, and they just cannot accept that it doesn't always pan out like they thought it should.
I was at the game and of all the finals that we have won in recent years I cannot recall one that was more comfortable on the nerves than that yesterday.
