It's been a busy week or so and we have MORE DUFC News for you. You lucky people. I'm not sure you deserve it but you're getting it anyway.
So there's been good news and bad news in the last 24 hours.
Actually no, they're both bad news.
The first bad news is that we have, ahem, secured our young full back Jamie Robson on a two year deal. He was dreadful last season and quite frankly isn't good enough. He's never been good enough. He is the weakest link in our dreadful defence and I'm staggered he has been given a two year deal.
The second piece of bad news is that Scott Fraser has confirmed that he's leaving the club. It was notable in his wee twitter 'thanks' statement that he didn't thank the fans, and I don't blame him. The abuse he gets for not kicking people has been ridiculous. I'm not saying that he's anything other than a frustrating player and he certainly has his weaknesses, but he's a footballer and we don't have many of them. He certainly never hid from the ball like a lot of them did. I'd rather he had remained.
We're being linked with a number of players now - LIvingstone's Sean Byrne and Craig Curran from Ross County are the latest. We're also looking to shake up our youth system, with former United youth supremo Graeme Livestone potentially coming back and Craig Easton moving from Raith Rovers to be involved.
Away from the club and in better news for the city, Dundee has once again received international acclaim as being one of the best places in the world. Anyone who has been to the city of discovery would understand.
This time it's Lonely Planet who lists Dundee as one of the top 10 places in Europe to visit this year. In fact we came in sixth in the list. Emilia-Romagna came in top of the list, the region of Italy which contains Bologna (which I visited last year and thoroughly enjoyed).

Scott Fraser reminded me of Stuart Armstrong on an off-day - obvious talent there but something not quite right.
Although unlike Armstrong, Fraser never had an on-day.
And Dundee's a good night out if you want to pull a 14-year-old in a club. Totally irresponsible when they should be at home looking after their kids.
