The current financial troubles Rangers are going through go back to things they did from '99 onwards, it had nothing to do with nine in a row.

Rangers can field players like Lafferty, Jelavic, Whittaker, Davis, Edu, Naismith & McGregor who were either signed for a high transfer fee or are worth a high transfer fee. They've done well to minimise the effect it has had on the playing staff so far, but we'll see after the tax case.
