I think we will definitely see the return of a box to box midfielder. Bryson maybe unless he goes to Cardiff. Fed up of watching us concede possession for 70% of the game. It is OK if it works but if it doesn't the games are painful to watch.

I reckon you're right tommo, I can see Frank being a ball to feet, gives his forward players some freedom to express themselves type of manager much like McLaren did.

I saw so many bad performances from Lawrence last season, so much petulant sulking and poor judgement, that I can't and will not accept it was down to indifferent tactics from the Manager.

As my old fella used to say, he needs a size 10 up his ar5e.
Nowadays though you get counseling!

Your Dad deserves a standing ovation for that comment, more than Lawrence deserved the 10 or so that he got for the endless inept performances he served up.

AJ can you list all these bad performances from Lawrence and say why they were bad. I saw one really bad performance from Lawrence (against Sunderland). Mostly he was OK but not justifying his price tag as he lacked composure in front of goal. He should have scored a few more but didn't miss half as many as Nugent.
There seems to be a propensity amongst some Derby supporters to find a victim, then invent a mythology about them. Didn't see any petulance or sulking but then I don't believe in Santa Clause either.

I agree with AJ, Lawrence was not value for money last season. I never liked Ince but he is miles better than little Tommy. To think he cost the same as we got for Ince and more than we got for the excellent Will.
I haven't heard any rumours about Rowett wanting Tommy at Stoke, even he knows he ain't much good.

Let's see what happens next season when we presumably play a different style of football to Rowettball
