Apparently we are in advanced talks with Jean-Michaël Seri of OGC Nice, I have to admit I really know nothing about the geezer but Barca were after him last summer so he must be decent at least!
So onto the subject of the article... Assuming this deal goes through that leaves us with N'Golo Kanté, Jean-Michaël Seri, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Cesc Fàbregas, Danny Drinkwater, Ross Barkley and potentially Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mason Mount all as middle options ! Blanc and Sarri both play 433 so who will start in middle 3? I'm guessing it could potentially be Kanté, Fabregas and Seri with Fabregas sitting deepest. I'm hoping Loftus-Cheek gets the nod ahead of Cesc tho.

We need improvements that's for sure. Understatement of the year.
Bakayoko is just woeful, Fabregas is over the hill now and should play bit part. RLC and Mount still young so a regular partner for kante and rotation of the third option would be great.

Both Sarri & Blanc play 433, This they play different variations of 433 with Blanc playing possession based pragmatic football where as Sarri is like Guardiola on that he starts the attacks from the keeper and defends from the front pressing high.
Seri will be a solid signing.

Our midfield will be totalt overpowered with Seri and Kante. They are both lightweight.

It's a good formation if you have a star holding midfielder and a complete, modern day CF.
I never understood the Chelsea fans who were desperate to see it last season. Closest we have to those key players to run the system were Bakayoko & Morata

We have Kante, as Ranieri once famously said that's akin to playing two in the middle
I'm surprised it took Conte till the final few games to break out 424. Was pretty much the only 4 man defense system we could run with this squad, particularly that midfield. Kante, Drinkwater & Bakayoko all won league titles playing in that system
