Yaya Toure for a season at Chelsea?

Speaking seriously, it would depend how much game time he'd be expecting (and his wages, that £1 thing is nonsense). People talking on here about pushing RLC, I'd argue having Yaya in and around the club would do wonders for him - Yaya represents the best possible player RLC can be if he applies himself.

If we rolled into next season with a midfield of Kante, Fabregas, Seri, RLC & Yaya, I dunno about anyone else but I'd be satisfied with that

If he'd be happy as a rotational option and took a 400% pay cut, why not?

One year deal. We certainly have no holding player (which is his position now). Europa next year means we can't really have too many options. RLC could benefit from it off the pitch, and possibly Seri as well with the Ivorian connection. Where's the downside?

Just to put this into prospective. Someone posted an article the other day saying we should bring Mikel back, so we've established the bar is low

Depends. You don't get more temperamental and divisive than Ibrahimovic and players like Rashford have spoke glowingly about the impact he had on him.

He wouldn't have stuck around at one club for as long as he has without being an influential dressing room figure. His only major issue seems to be with Pep (something he and Zlatan ironically have in common).
