New St Mirren manager
Fantastic appointment in my opinion. He surely regrets leaving Hibs to take over at Rotherham to see the great job Lennon went on to do with them.
Here is a good opportunity for him to prove himself in the Scottish top flight with limited expectations. He has the core of a good young squad to work with and build on.
I think with Livingston being there too it gives St Mirren a chance at a second year in the top flight to build on.
Best of luck to Stubbsy and hopefully helps see St Mirren return to being a mainstay of the top tier again.

Very early days mate. Building a brand new team that *seems* to be coming together but still a lot of work to be done. Need central defenders urgently.
Pre-season always gives you a bit of cautious optimism though. It's the best time of year to be a supporter. The season proper just sucks that optimism away

You should be the "biggest" team in the league next season surely? I actually hope you manage to get up this season. Otherwise you could disappear for years unfortunately

Big Stubbs won the cup which camouflaged the fact he failed twice to take hibs up and was quickly sacked at Rotherham because his results were dire 😁
