Not a huge amount of announcements from Sony but what they did show was excellent and more importantly extended actual game footage of their exclusives

Ok just caught up with E3, exactly what I expected, more meat on the bones of the games coming out.

The standout for me was The Last Of Us 2, Naughty Dog has a laser focus on whats important to the game and character's.

So many people are invested in Joel and Ellie, what happens story wise is as important as gameplay, The Last Of Us 2 is going to be huge.

My most anticipated game.

I don't think there is too much to say, anyone watching the show will be excited for whats coming, some great stuff on it's way.

As a presentation, Sony's was a bit of mess. It was clunky, awkward and didnt flow well.

But in terms of games, everything was great and its so refreshing to see actual gameplay nowadays.

I didn't watch it as a whole presentation, but the gameplay videos for TLOU2, Spiderman, Ghost of Tsushima, and Death Stranding looked incredible.

TLOU2 and Death Stranding in particular looked as though they might be running on early, PS5-equivalent tech.

It's a shame there weren't any big, new game reveals; I think Sony announced two new games just prior to E3, which gave the impression they believed they had a lot more / better in their locker in terms of new announcements.

Anyway, I'm happy. Has it been confirmed whether Joel will make an appearance / be a playable character in TLOU2? From what I've seen, it looked implicit that he is dead or presumed dead?

I think they are keeping the powder dry when it comes to Joel.

Personally I can't see him not in the game, and Sony are just keeping people guessing.

Ghost of Tsushima looked interesting at first then quickly became I mash up of Assassin's Creed/Batman AA with spectacular visuals. The English dubbing was annoying as well.

Samurai aren't Ninja.

Very little information on Dreams Sideshow.

They seem to fit in bits of the game between segments, but no new information.

No information on Red Dead either which surprised me, but there are other shows coming up.

The new Ori game looks as gorgeous as the first one. Can't wait to play it and let it move me.
