Petty differences aside

I'm hoping England have a good tournament.

Now that means I want pickford to have a blinder and make save after save, and for cahill, stones, smalling whoever plays to keep a clean sheet.

I want hendo, Dier, to control the midfield and provide forward attacking passes that start our attacking play.

I want walker and rose to run the wings like fackin mad men and provide crosses to help us score.

I want sterling and ali to provide goals and assists so Kane gets the golden boot

COME ON ENGLAND

So come on the time has come to put petty club shiiiit on the backburner, all real fans will cheer the team on

Really, when was the last time Scotland won an ashes test?

Scotland have never won an ashes test but as the ashes are only between England and Australia, it would be difficult

Might set up a thread on this - though it’s beong done before. Why are Scots so bitter about England? Is it because we don’t live off a diet of fried mars bars and iron brew?

Black Starr kindly banish any thoughts of bitterness in the hearts of us Jocks. Yes, I always support whoever you are playing against or no matter what sport, but it's limited to sport.

It each and every turn I denigrate the English, nothing personal pal. But see if someone else, some foreign chappie tries to dig oot the English, then that's different, that's not allowed. That's when the ranks close and they get both barrells. No way will I tolerate criticism of you English bar stewards, that our job.

You support an English football team instead of a Scottish one. Why is this?

Cosmic Wheel nobody cares about football and tennis?Scotland are not better than England in football or cricket despite one fluke win over England a few days ago in one ODI.
