Should England be scared

of any team left in the World Cup? On a long unbeaten run with the world's best striker, there should no team to fear.

Obviously over a 90 minute game anything could happen, but England have to act and think now like potential winners.

I quite like Walker at rcb myself (despite his error for the penalty).

His pace there is invaluable when the rwb pushes on imo.

"Then do you play Jones or Cahill at CB?"

That's the other issue

Generally speaking Jones is a very good defender, but like Maguire has that bit of a donkey in him.

I guess if we are able to impose ourselves on the big sides and keep possession walker is the better option.

You just get the feeling we are going to concede with every attack down that flank though.

Only us English would hype up our chances of winning the world cup after beating Tunisia and Panama, the two teams with the longest odds to win the whole thing by far prior to the first game of the tournament.

English fans' logic...we beat Panama 6-1, therefore we can conclude that we will beat Brazil/France/Spain

Well that's not quite true with regards to Tunisia.

Also yeah, Panama are not great but when you set your biggest win ever in international tournament history people have every right to get behind their team.

Just lastly pretending that people are going round saying
" we beat Panama 6-1, therefore we can conclude that we will beat Brazil/France/Spain" is simply not true either.

All in all a sh!t post.

I think Tunisia could have caused problems in other groups tbh.

Agreed Phenom mate. If this England side are to get anywhere Southgate needs to find a system that is greater than the sum of its parts and he's well on the way to that imo.

Apart from when they are attacked. Didn't you see the Panama game?

If the ball comes in from the other side they are okay.

That's the trade of though Busby as most of our attacks also come down that side. Nothing to say that part of the system can't improve either.
