They were shocking. Passing for passing sakes at times, surely they could of changed it up a bit with the players they had out there?

vidic Spain were poor generally apart from the first match against Portugal in this World Cup.

heh
spain were not entertaining at all, but if they won in penalties, I would've pegged them as the favorites for the remainder of the tournament. I think only Germany or Italy can capably slice through their midfield. Russia played smart, and it paid off.

Change of manager won't have helped and they're still unbeaten in ages I think. Kind of.

Alright, harl?
Honestly, what the f*ck was that stupid w*nker thinking?
He really is just too much of a smart a*se, and it's finally caught up with him.
We were dire anyway, and had been all tournament. Almost relieved we've been put out of our misery.
The rest of the world must be too. My word, what utterly awful, mind-numbing football!

Some big changes coming for Spain,a few of the old ones must go,and a change of philosophy from the hierarchy, but,it's going to take some time and soul searching .

The changes in personnel are inevitable, and there's a clamour in the papers this morning for a change in style.
Not so sure the latter will happen though. As much as it's long overdue, the disappointment will slowly fade and the memory of the 'glory years' is still strong.
There's still a risk that we'll forget it's been three tournaments on the trot now and once again fall into the trap of thinking we have to try to replicate it.

I've always loved the Spanish style,it just needs updating and speeding up,if thats possible.
I'm not sure about the new generation to be honest,i haven't seen any new face that really excites me,Isco apart.

The level's dropped, but I still think there's enough talent to carry ourselves well in a big tournament and make the most of a draw opening up like it had here. But players will rarely shine if they're played out of position in a style that doesn't suit them.
Mismanagement at every level, and not a lack of talent, is what's cost us heavily.
Who'da thunk, eh?
