Wilshere / England

Englands lack of a midfield creative player was one of the main undoings i think, we just literally had nobody in the middle that could play a decent pass or dictate the tempo/game. Not many coming through so far that look anything special either, hopefully Wilshere can find form and stay injury-free @ West Ham as he is still class and really could benefit this team.

But regardless, who on earth would of expected we'd make it to the semi's before the tournament, and win a penalty shootout in the process ffs Football did come home, they've rejuvenated passion and the gap between fans and players and media that recently developed over the years.

So well done boys, and tbh even aside, 2 weeks it's been fun, brilliant and to have the absolute joyful atmosphere all around england, and seeing the memes and songs and celebrations has been brilliant, shame it couldn't last a bit longer but it's been fun while it lasted.
