The Golden boot winner has to be in any team of the tournament, no matter how the goals he scored went in.

As far as I know penalties and tap ins are allowed, unless there has been a rule change.

Sandy will defend his man to the hilt, but what started out as a very good World Cup for Kane faded badly and ended pretty diappointingly.

My shout for the no.9 role would be Cavani. He was, in the games he played, quite easily the most impressive striker at the World Cup.

He was a huge miss for Uruguay vs France. Without him, Uruguay's attack was toothless, which isn't something you'd never expect to hear of a forward line containing Luis Suárez.

Modric really showed up kante yesterday, he on a different level to all the other midfielders.

Perhaps I missed something yesterday ,but Varanne and Pogba were woeful in the first half,because they improved a bit in the 2nd half of the final,does not put them in the world team.
