I do not normally write on boards of other teams however I was so impressed with performances from both sides.
Games between united and chelsea in the league are normally so tactical , tight and not free flowing. However today we witnessed both sides attack with speed and skill.
I must say I am disappointed from some posters on here that can only write about torres's miss. The boy has gone through some hard times and I would certainly not like to be in his shoes after today. Would you not agree that his performances on and off the ball were really good , movement and passing.
I wish people could focus more about the great battle in midfield.
Yes both your goals were offside but such decisions are norm in the premier league hah , you won't find many articles on our board about these decisions its luck and I understand it.
P.S for those honest united posters after todays game whats your analyses of the strongest competition youle face this season , im proud of my team playing great football against the most inform team in europe.
Great performance from both teams but

It's true, you probably will be. But think about it, we played poorly today, we had only 3 chances in the first half, and we took them all. If that is us playing bad (it was the worst we have played so far this season) then things are looking good for us.
There is no team more clinical than us in this League, and this will be the difference.

I think City have the stronger squad this season. AVB needs a season to make his mark on the side and make a few more signings.

Its good to see Chelsea playing attacking football

If they were offside they were offside regardless of what happens before and after, yes we defended the first poorly but at the end of the day it shouldn't have counted anyway.
I'm not going to go and say we deserved to win because we didn't, if you go and defend that way against Utd and miss the chances that we did then you will get beat.
Chelsea being awarded every 50/50? Thought United gained some pretty soft decisions to be honest.
Was a cracking game with both sides playing great football and the result was fair.

I must say time and time again when I see smalling on your teamsheet I doubt him but he always proves me wrong with an excellent performance in most games , the boy plays with alot of passion and will to succeed.

Everyone mentions Torres's miss but no one talks about Rooney's penalty miss. It's hilarious .

people also forget we have played nearly all season with three of our first choice back four missing and a rookie goalkeeper who will only get better as he settles in.

that's more than likely down to the fact that torres' miss rendered rooney's irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. i can only assume that you were repeatedly dropped on your head as a child for you to not realise that

Great article, honest and articulate. A rarity on these boards!
