Anybody seen much of him/rate him ? Can't say I know much about him to be fair. If we assume he's coming in and taking one of the centre back slots, who do we think is going to be playing along side him ? With Luiz, Cahill, rudiger, Christiansen, zouma and possibly azpilicueta there's plenty to choose from

Can't believe we're willing to pay so much for fatty Higuain.
Luiz is a liability at CB especially if we're changing to 4 at the back

Higuain for €60m (£53.5m). Rugani, €40m (£35.5m).
Properly rinsed by Juventus if CFC pay anywhere near that figure for Higuain

Agree with you regarding Higuain. Sarri must think very highly of him - but I'd prefer to target a younger and quicker striker.
My Juventus supporting friend rates Rugani though. He thought it was strange that they're prepared to sell him - although they clearly need the cash after the Ronaldo deal.

"He could be kept for the home grown quota."
Without Cahill (or DW) we'll still have more than enough HG.
Homegrown: Fabregas, Christensen, Barkley, Moses, Loftus-Cheek.
Musonda & Aina (if they stay)
U21 (homegrown): Ampadu & Hudson-Odoi.

Homegrown quota is not that big a deal anyway.
17 non-homegrown squad limit Is more important.
We're at the limit currently, so non-homegrown departures will happen once Golovin and Rugani sign (or before they sign).
Willian, and Bakayoko are the obvious candidates to leave.

Willian due to the big bucks Barcelona are offering and Bakayoko because he's not conducive to the Sarri is trying to achieve.

If this was Fifa I'd be thinking great signing with high potential, Sadly it's not and if Juventus are willing to sell him with already ageing CBs then it can't be a good sign.
Time will tell.
I still fancy Luiz & Rüdiger to be the starting CB pairing.

Are we assuming that
1 luiz is fit
2 luiz is staying
I'm unsure of either

Personally I'd rather we had Luiz in DM

I'd assume Luiz is fit as he's been training and he travelled with the squad to Australia.

Didn't realise we had so many HG players! Also I genuinely keep forgetting Barkley is a Chelsea player
For the record I do think it's time for Cahill to leave.

He’s meant to play similar to Christensen
