Signed today in 2004, what a beast of a player, never been replaced and I'm not sure if he ever will be to be honest. A leader on and off the pitch for us, big game player and match winner. The perfect player for us/mourinho at the time and like Jose a born winner, he loved a final and if it wasn't Frank I think he'd be our best ever signing.Whats your favourite Didier memory ?

Chelsea’s greatest ever player in my opinion. People will say Lampard, but the huge games Drogba won is with his goals out him at number one in my opinion. Favourite Drogba moments?
1. CL final
2. Getting carried off on his last appearance
3. CL Semi final vs Liverpool
4. Comeback victory vs Arsenal in 07/08
5. That amazing goal vs Liverpool
6. Physically destroying William Gallas to score the first goal in the FA Cup semi in 2012, and then scoring again in the final
7. FA Cup final winners vs Man Utd and Portsmouth (beautiful free kick in that game)
8. Header vs Napoli to start the comeback
9. Dominating Arsenal in both league games in 09/10
10. Final day hattrick against Wigan on the day we won the league
and im probably still missing some as well!

What i mean is there probably isnt a better striker from that era we could have had ahead of Lamps

*better suited
I think they still hold the most assists to one another i think of any duo in prem history (or it might be goals and assists combined to each other but i think thats the same stat)

Has to be winning the CL final with his 'last' kick as a Chelsea player. Fairytale stuff. As Martin Tyler said at the time: "He may never play for Chelsea again, he'll never be forgotten. He's immortal at this club."
10 goals in 10 finals was it? As an achievement it's right up there with that time he single-handedly ended a civil war in the Ivory Coast...

"It's a f***in disgrace" all day long.
Don't condone the language but never has a player epitomised the emotion of the moment purely from the fans prospective (not the clubs or his own) more than that. That was the moment he truly became one of us and never looked back

Nowhere near the talent of a Henry, or even a Van Nistelrooy, but there was no better big-game player than Drogba.

Agreed maybe not as talented but as an all round striker better than both. Could do everything, finish from inside and outside a box, head, hold up play to die for and dominate defenses like I had never seen before or again if I'm to be honest. On his day unplayable, but let's also not forget the diving and play acting - he could certainly be frustrating!

Drogba's goal against Tottenham in FA Cup when Chelsea beat them 4-1 and went on to win FA Cup was also brilliant from Drogba!

5-1

Yes Kante I couldn't remember the exact score but I was sure that it was either 4-1 or 5-1 to Chelsea against Spurs under Di Matteo!
