UEFA are clearly bigots then.

some folk get sent off for a high boot challenge

Some for a straight leg challenege

and on occasion for a challenge nowhere near the ball...

It is though beyond comprehension that if a player combines all 3 he may get a bit more punishment

But then Ive not seen it and am only going by the quote from a poster who has.

Probably want even a foul mind you

I’ve actuall seen penalties given where there was no contact. An it’s justified by their fans as “he has every right to go down” and “he was trying to protect himself”

So it seems non-contact is a punishable offence. Well if it’s against wan side of course <wink>

Maybe Celtic asked UEFA to extend it? It was a stupid, unnecessary challenge. I don't agree that the red was harsh. Extending the ban seems harsh but it is what it is.

I see UEFA are now looking at making the champions league for the top leagues only now.
