First time this has been mentioned all summer...
We are apparently very conscious about FFP, and are unwilling to spend more than another £60m in this window. We spent £57m on Jorginho. And ‘only’ around £200 net over the last few years. (I say only, in comparison to many clubs around us).
Despite us being linked to lots of players this summer, many by Pedula himself, and for some crazy sums, I’m very surprised that this is now the maximum figure that we’d spend. Especially as it seems very likely that Courtois will go, and Willian could follow, generating roughly £100m in income.
He has said tonight, that after meetings in Nice, we have offered Juve £55m + Morata for Higuain and Rugani. If that’s true, I think that’s pretty stupid on our part. I wouldn’t say Higuain (at 30) and Rugani we’re worth much more than £70m as it is. Well under city cutting what we paid on Morata last year.
Then loads of media have said we’re close to getting Pulisic. So we’re either going all out, or we’re only buying one more player. Not long to go now till our window closes thank fark.

It's obviously 60m net, and our net spend figure is skewed by half our income coming from loanees.

Would Lewandowski be that much more expensive than Higuain?
Reports all summer in Spain that he wants out of Bayern. Madrid been heavily linked in previous windows, but the impression is the interest may have cooled.

That figure was banded around early pre season
I really cant see us signing anyone else and the remit is to use the squad as is hence the sarri appointment

That bloke Alfredo has gotten a few things wrong this window, He said Seri was in London to sign for Chelsea... Ended up at Fulham.
He also said Chelsea were in for Milinkovic-Savic and the rumoured price was €100m, This is not something Chelsea would do at all.
I'd take what any Journo claims with a huge pinch of salt.
I'm confident the club will conclude at least 2 more signings this window which will improve the side, I fancy Higuain and Caldara to be the two, If Willian goes to Utd then possibly Martial instead of Higuain.
