Would however prefer to keep them both and know we are sorted in CM for years.

Agreed, would rather keep what we have but i prefer Fella to Rodders so for me it would be his replacement.

If we are genuinely in for him then it does send out a bit of a messege about our midfield to the rest of the prem if we kept both Rodders and Fella aswell. Very strong.

Hindsight's a wonderful thing and all that but it would have been good to get the 5 million for Yakubu, the Hammers offered, eh?

We still have the Pienaar money and perhaps he's best mates with Fella? I haven't seen him since he was brilliant against us in the UEFA a few years back, but only good things. Hope there's something in it.

Yea I would prefer a wide man and a striker as well but defour is brilliant little player. I would be chuffed and very suprised if we got him though.
