If you were told right now except for a keeper we would not make a signing but our youth players would be guaranteed game time, would you take it ?
Personally I think I would if it ment seeing
----------------------New Keeper-------------------------
azpilicueta, Luiz/Rudiger, ampadu, Alonso/Emerson
------------------------jorginho----------------------------
---------------kante----------------RLC-------------------
CHO--------------------------------------------------Hazard
------------------Morata/Tammy/Bat Man--------------------------
On a side note do we see Christensen getting much game time this year ?
Hypothetical

Tu i don't get why people are putting RLC in atall tbh. To add to the fact he's not very good his style is the opposite of what Sarri looks for in a midfielder.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Me neither. Other than the fact he has come from the youth team I see no reason to start RLC for his qualities. Fabregas and Barkley ahead of him for me. RLC Should be coming off the bench and getting Europa League starts.
Also I'm not sure why people are writing us off. We have some serial winners in there who fell who with defensive managers as they are attacking players! Imagine being Hazard with all your ability going forward and some bloke is telling you to play without the ball.
Courtois, Azpilicueta, Luiz, Kanté, Fabregas, Hazard, Pedro and Willian have all won the title, Most have won it twice. Not to mention the likes Christensen, Rüdiger, Jorginho, Barkley, Loftus-Cheek, Batshuayi and Giroud.

Who fell out with defensive managers*

We have a decent team IMO if we can keep everyone, but the problem is that in this league there are now at least 6 teams that are all about the same level give or take. One of those teams is head and shoulders above the others (City) but the basic problem is that 6 into 4 simply doesn't go so 2 of those teams will be missing out on CL qualification every year for the foreseeable future and you've only got to have a slight dip, like we had last season to be one of those teams that miss out. It's gonna be tough for all of them teams and will come down to fine margins that will decide whether you make the cut or not.
I'm hoping that the new sense of optimism that a new manager brings, will mean that we can be above the dividing line instead of below it for this season.

Mount is 100 times the player, can't believe we loaned him to Derby and kept Ruben.

Provided we lose nobody else (so Hazard & Willian stay) yeah I would, but not for some 'give the youth a chance' reason.
This season is all about Sarri getting his style of football across and identifying who has a future in it going forward. The only player we fundamentally needed this window to give Sarri a base to build from was a creative deep lying playmaker and we got the best possible one.
All we need to do now is be patient through what will probably be a challenging, but necessary transitional season
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This
We’re gonna make some “School Boy Errors” that will cost us points this season. There’s 5 teams (IMO) competing for 3 places. Don’t care what anyone says the League is definitely City’s this season, they may even get the Champions League as well.
Roman is going to have to be patient this season and not hit that hidden trap door button he has when it becomes obvious we’re not going to win the big prizes this season.
If we get back in top 4/or Win Europa League and there looks like promise of better things to come, I think that should be good enough.
But hey it’s not me paying the Manager’s wages.

We have to assume Roman knew what he was getting with Sarri. He's a manager approaching his 60's whose won nothing but has a distinct philosophy on the game. If he expected instant success he shouldn't have hired him in the first place.
For me this season's all about a change in our style and how well it's received among the football world. We could end 5th/6th (even lower) but if the football is clicking the way Sarri intends it too, if the players are happy and responding to it, if we as fans are responding to it, then it's mission accomplished in season one. Next season is where results should be a factor in the evaluation of Sarri's performance
