I won't rubbish the lad. I really hope that he becomes a fans favorite. That will mean he's doing a good job.
It's to be hoped that he's better than Conner Hall who has been reported to have gone to Accrington.

Younger than I thought at 26. He's one of those players who seems to have been around for years, happily banging in goals in the lower leagues - think of Scott McGleish, Ian Flack, even Dr Kenny Deuchar. If he signs permanently in January, he could be banging in more goals in the lower leagues before you know it!

Just read a comment from a Forest Green fan on another forum saying they rejected a bid of £800k earlier in the day, (for the permanent bit obv.), so it looks like we could be back in the big spenders.
This loan move for Hall could be the making of him or be one of those where he fails to impress and end up coming back and just scoring in U23 football.
Obviously high hopes for both signings here.

Dotted the i(s) and crossed the t(s) and finished off the summer thread. Added the list of returned loans to the list so a comprehensive record of all the comings and goings from the end of last season to today when the transfer window shut.

Pasty, of course, I can spell his name. If I wasn't able to, I could quite easily have copied and pasted. The thing is, I preferred to wait until confirmation that he had signed. He's not a household name and I suspect most BWFC supporters would never have heard of him.
This is what Forest Green Rovers have placed on their website.

This is Mark Illes contribution.

He scored 40 goals in the last two seasons so he knows where the goal posts are and can place the ball between the sticks. At least at Division two level
Let' hope that he can do the same two divisions higher.
