There’s nothing ridiculous about it. It’s how communities work. Online or otherwise.
I haven’t seen any of the returning posters make a big deal out of it. That might be looking for people to care.

Well, OK. So I come into it by saying something about caring as a means of expressing some mirth and having a wee dig about, imo, the ridiculousness of stay/go antics on an anonymous fitba forum?
