Morelos is a liability
Every team in this league will be up for it when they come up against us
We simply cannot have a player in our ranks that constantly risks getting a red card coz he can't keep a lid on it when he's being wound up. Today isn't the first time he has lashed out over next to nothing
He's going to be targeted every single game and should know this by now, yet he couldn't bloody hack getting shoved after 11 minutes of the first game ffs
Best way to respond to this stuff is sticking it in the pokey, something he is pretty good at.....not with petulant wee kick outs
The sooner he learns this the better, hope Gerrard goes right out through him for what happened today, was sheer stupidity
If he doesn't learn his lesson here, he needs to go, cost us the win today

I like teams who are solely concerned with scoring more than conceding. Going for 55, but losing a man and going 4-5-0 is about as welcome as a plastic pitch.

Morelos being a hothead is media and Timothy speak imo. I just don’t see it . Ok he had a wee lockout yesterday but players do that fairly regularly and get away with it.
He’s a wee battler no doubt but I feel the hothead stuff is a bit ott

I think you will find that no one is asking for Morelos to be binned after what happened yesterday
If you actually read the full OP, you would see the following was said “If he doesn't learn his lesson here, he needs to go, cost us the win today”
He has previous for lashing out when he gets wound up, this is the first time he’s been sent off for it, but he was booked more than any other player last season, sometimes for petulance...and I vividly remember him being subbed off in a game after he had received a yellow because he was wound up and risked a red.
The point being made here is, he is being asked to play up top, on his own, put a shift in, graft, make a nuisance of himself and unsettle defenders......in other words, to do his job, he has to dish it out a bit, so has to expect it back
The fact he’s being seen as a hot head also means he will be targeting and has probably just made things worse for himself, because he has lashed out after 11mins of the first league game of the season ffs
The last thing we need is all the hard work being done under Gerrard....ruined because a key figure in the team can’t hack getting roughed up a bit.
The same thing goes for Ryan Jack, but he hasn’t cost us a game under Gerrard yet though has he

My mate was telling me he heard some rumour that when Morelos was at Hjk he often went in a strop/huff when things never happened for him and the club found it weird to deal with,like having depression and not being able to shift it,so much so they called in some sort of shrink to help him,how true it is I honestly don`t no! He does seem huffy all the time,can`t fault his workload tho,red card has been appealed today

I’ve no problem with Morelos attitude or supposed hot headness. I don’t really see him as a hot head tbh but he defo has something about him in terms of putting himself about and I think it adds to his play
