How has all the extra money in the game, actually benefitted ordinary supporters, apart from better toilet facilities? That is if you can actually afford to go to a football match in this day and age.

For match going supporters it hasn't got better at all.
But for the average football supporter who watches games on TV - well you can pretty much watch any game you want.
