As a Gooner, I am surprised that there isn't any backlash against Mane's third goal that was at least a mile offside.

I think that it is disgraceful that we haven't implemented the VAR system in the premier league. The only reason why I think that we don't have VAR in jet is because for some reason we have a superiority complex in this country which goes without saying is unjustified.
Mane's second goal was a mile offside!

Well I was replying specifically to jlou, not the article. The article talks about the backlash, as does jlou. VAR is a secondary part of the article that jlou doesn't allude to.
So, yes, there were a lot of articles about Watfords 'offside' goal, and people still comment about it now.

What was said at the time about Watford’s offside goal? I don’t recall any backlash myself.

And just 2 clarify, it was about a yard offside.
Nowhere near a mile.

It’s okay because of all the bad VAR decisions that went against Liverpool last season.

west ham are one of those gems of a team, that no matter who they sign and who manages them they will always be fackingshit

And laughably the Saltypool fans will have us believe that they are the victims and referees cost them more points than any other club. Of course, we know it is the exact opposite and the Saltypudlians by far and away enjoy the most favourable refereeing, and have done since the late 70`s.
