DOF

No real sources so apologies but a lot of whisper around twitter etc that we are making moves to bring in a DOF.

Anyone else heard anything like this?

If true then definately for it.

Thoughts?

Also, good win in Friday. Routine in the end but shaky at times.

Looking forward to having Messi Lingard back soon!

Why does Woodward even need to go back to working on our commercial work? We seem to be doing very well in that area since Woodward moved up into his current role.

His current role which entails overseeing every aspect of the whole business and signing off on all major deals ?

Fergie would’ve adapted to life under a DoF like he did with everything else.

Probably got the making tea.

He oversees everything like Gill did before him but we will have replaced his previous role as commercial and media operations of Manchester United with someone else if I’m not mistaken. It’s highly unlikely Woodward would be doing his previous job as well as overseeing everything else at the club and we seem to be doing perfectly well with the commercial side so why would there be any need to move him back there if we were to remove him as vice chairman?

As vice chairman he manages the directors that look each arm of the business.

Basically chaps, everything points to Ed being good at his job.

Not at agreeing contracts he’s not. If he had any part , even if just authorising suing Sanchez 391k plus weekly and yearly bonuses, then he’s awful at that part of the job.
