So many talking points from Saturday's win at Norwich.
Firstly, how good do our front 4 look?! Such a contrast to the last couple of seasons. We now look like we can score goals for fun provided Rodriguez, Harvey, Gayle and Phillips stay clear of injuries.
The defence is a worry but i'm confident we can sort it out. Getting Dawson back in the fold will make the world of difference. That just leaves our midfield. Brunt has been a great servant to our club but he doesn't have the legs to play in that position. Ideally i'd get somebody in on loan. As tidy a player Field is, he's not quick and doesn't have much of an engine. By all means give him a go but I just don't see him as the solution if we're playing 442.
Either way, plenty of positives.
Up and running!

Thanks JH. I'll wave to you from the East Stand!
Saturday's approach is what we've been crying out for for years. Imagine if we went on to win all our remaining matches 4-3?!
Can't believe the negativity from some of our fans. Yes the defence needs tightening but who cares how many we concede if we win?!!!

Having more fun already in the Champ in the last 3 games, than we've had in the last 3 years.
Agree our forward line looks a cut above at this level although we'll have to keep them all fit. Still missing a no.10 although hopefully Morrison or Chadli will plug that gap.
Still not fully convinced on BD if I'm honest, but it's hard to criticise him too much as Jenkins and co. have let him down this summer (surprise).
Fairly strong team today, put them to the sword and build some momentum. It's our year...

Good win
We do have some good kids at our club.
Leko, Harper, Field, Burke, Edwards all played well tonight.
Tosin on loan from City played well and Townsend looks some player. Gibbs will struggle to get that LB spot off him. Mozza ran the game second half. In the next round which is all that matters.
Only negative - Robson Kanu was fluffing awful.

Yep, a lot of positives to be taken out of last night's match. So pleased for Burke. Everyone seems to forget he's only 21 so there's plenty of time for him to show his potential. Fingers crossed it will be this season.
DM totally justified his decision to trust in youth last night. Hopefully a few of these lads can carry this form into some league games this season.
Fresh first teasers available for Saturday now so every reason to expect a good performance.
