blaming the bitters for being 'grassers'.
Turns out little Mo was grassed on by his own.
Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah has been referred to the police by his club after he was apparently filmed using a mobile phone while driving.
Merseyside Police confirmed in a tweet that the video had been passed to the "relevant department".
A spokesman for the Premier League club said they had alerted police after discussions with the player.
They added that any follow-up action on the Egypt international would be dealt with "internally".

So because some low life set fire to house that’s the clubs fault!
Fack me there’s some absolute gems on here.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A house LFC owners bought and obviously didn't secure properly.
If they hadn't bought it and someone lived in it then I doubt it would have been set on fire.
Those living around the ground have said LFC are the World's worse neighbours. They know more than you or I
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As I said, some absolute special gems.

"Anfield was a good area, all the houses occupied, nothing like it is today," says Macpherson, who runs a garage, Aintree Motors. "The area started to decline in the early 1990s with the city's economic problems. But Liverpool football club accelerated the decline, by leaving good houses empty and boarded up. It wasn't a natural decline; it was engineered."

I’m surprised we didn’t do a Spurs and set his business on fire.
Seriously though the area around Anfield, Breck Road and places like TheBroadway have been in decline for years and it’s nothing to do with the club. It’s a socioeconomic issue that’s blighted the city long before they wanted to expand the stadium.

Having been brought up in the city, and knowing the area well, I can tell you that that area has been in decline, and pretty much left to rot, by previous governments, at both national and local level since the mid 80's.
Along with the development of the stadium, the area as seen a lot of investment, in terms of redevelopment.
In the last three years, some 398 new homes in the area have been built, over 300 homes refurbished and 238 substandard and derelict properties demolished.
This redevelopment program is on going, with more modern efficient social housing projects being built, including the new homes being built on the old site of Notre Dame school.
Many of the areas around the ground, and in Anfield generally, have improved beyond recognition, and continue to be improved.
Long may it continue.

Load of tosh from start to finish.
Firstly, the only Aintree Motors I have ever known, wasn't in Anfield, but based in Fazakerly, and has been for years, and I doubt as the owner of a garage, and used car sales lot, Mr McPherson had to live in any of those terraced properties around the ground.
Secondly, just because you have full occupancy in sub standard housing, doesn't make a community vibrant, as many of the houses were left to decay by private land lords, and the council.
Thirdly, the idea that a football club are involved in social engineering is ludicrous.
Beyond all that, nice story.

I actually think Liverpool FC acted with integrity in reporting Salah to the police. Using mobile phones while driving leads to fatal accidents and needs to be stamped out.
Less people would be defending Salah if it was for drink driving but using phones while driving can be just as dangerous.

Rules are clear here I think.
