I'd go for Ballack as well. Seems tactful, excellent football knowledge and assertive like most germans.
I noticed that german ex-players not only go into coaching/managment but are employed as DoF, and board members although the structure and systems in germany are different to England.

Should have got this sorted already this summer. Someone with influence who is good at all things regarding player recruitment. An area that Sarri has admitted he has no interest in.

Agreed. We seem to have slowed down in many areas as if nobody knows what to do.

Ballack would be a good option, He recently spoke of how the club hasn't thought about the long term and with a youth team like ours, They should be brought through more often.

And of course you'd say that to his face as opposed to behind your keyboard in your parent's basement.

Ballack is a winner. I have a lot of faith in him. He’s a smart man, and a leader on and off the pitch. He would be respected by anyone in the game (Gunnerthru excepted). I hope we go for him.
And I don’t want anyone who has worked for the English FA - they are run almost as poorly as Chelsea.

And your justification for that comment?

No use as manager should have more say than any director of football which is European style of football hierarchy instead of a British style of football hierarchy.
