Now, I am far from Harry Redknapps biggest fan, for reasons that I have stated in the past, and there is no need to go into here.
But I have to say, that Harry got it absolutely spot on yesterday in absolutely everything he did and said.
That is including the pre and post match interviews, where he was very good, team selection, and all the subs, and the timings of all the subs.
Did anyone else notice that we finished the match with Modric as skipper.. another fantastic move from Redknapp.... sent out a statement.
Now, before I get carried away in my praise for Harry I thought I would put this one out there...... if it were up to you.. would you play King next week.... or would you save him for the NLD. If King plays in that game, then I would feel much more confident. But I know we MUST get the 3 points at wigan to keep the run going.
Thoughts?

i did love it when he said after game....
we got done by city and it hurt, but i didn't panick as i knew i had scotty coming in.
thats the famous harry man-management at work,i've never been in the harry out brigade,i have however given him a bit of stick from time to time.....rightly or wrongly.....
on your point op,i would risk our other guy's being able to do the job up at wigan, and save king for NLD.....
if we can get the 3 points in the derby, that really will give us a head of steam and a gap over arsenal with that game in hand.....

Chronic
I think one of the biggest mistakes we made last season was saving our big players for certain games, the Wigan one included.
I just think you shouldn't play games with Lady Luck & we should be fielding our strongest team at all times. We shouldn't worry who might get injured & when. Just play King in all league games when he is fit. If he cant make the NLD then so be it. What if we save him for the NLD then he breaks down in training the day before, then we've lost him for 2 games instead of 1.
We played weakened sides too often last season, resulting in draws instead of likely wins, had we played full strength. I think this, if anything, cost us 4th last season & we shouldnt make the same mistake again.

Spot on Chicken
Play our strongest team for each game, we are in no position to think we can play a weaker team and walk over teams like Wigan, we found that out last season

Ledders love in!
Ledley...
Well said Chronic, the only thing that's taken the edge off it for me was hearing him talk to the press about Modric's contract. Surely all that's required is a conversation between him & Levy?
Anyway.. 4-0!!!

King needs to play every prem game if fit for me. The guy is a different class and our defence are completely different when he's in the team. We should beat Wigan without King but we have even more chance with King so he needs to play to keep the Tempo up. 3 points is another must so let's not think about the Arsenal game just yet
