Half Time

None of us know what happened in the dressing room
at half time. It would be fair to say that whoever took
Gregg Wylde aside, changed the march. We know the kid
is very good, sometimes his decision making can be suspect
and he should also maybe get into better scoring positions but he
is young.

Yesterday though, first half zilch, wandering aimlessly, poor control
nothing of note, the easy option was hook him, put on Ortiz as a straight
swap. Someone, though maybe Ally has taken the decision to tell him
that he is better than that, build his confidence, gee him up but most
importantly let him play through it.

Second half outstanding performance taking on and beating men, good
deep crosses, tackling back and using his attributes to his and the teams
advantage. All of our front five Wylde, Davis, Naismith, Lafferty and
Jelavic had much improved performances in the second half but the total
transformation in Wylde shows good judgement from the
management team, had we made a substitution would Ortiz have played
such an important role.

Alright mate

For me Ally & his management team came of age yesterday. I said on here a coupke of weeks ago partnerships between Davis, Naismith, Jelavic, Wylde & Lafferty have been developing for weeks know and yesterday's 2nd half performance they all just jelled. Maked you think though if this had all happeend a month or 2 ago we may have been playing Champions League football and we may have been yp an extra £15 million!

Wylde said in an interview after the match that Ally did speak to him, obviously worked.

His crossing in the second half was fantastic.

Yea Wylde looked superb in the 2nd half. Dispite what the media and other areas of society say Rangers have a great team there with a really good young promising manager in Ally McCoist who will lead them to great things.

Your right Brother, but the European displays were unforgiveable, these five played together in the title run in and gave displays like the one yesterday. In Europe Naismith and Jelavic couldn't score in a &@£@@, Davis did not look fit enough and Wylde and Lafferty was out. We all saw the formula in April/May play the five and have a go forget holding players and defend our lead like we did in the first half, if they score three we need four that should be the way forward. Let the Goalkeeper and defence defend and let these five loose at our opponents.
