The captains of the 20 clubs in Primera División are to meet on Wednesday at the headquarters of the Spanish Association of Footballers (AFE) to draft a communique in response to the decision by the Spanish Professional Football League (LFP) to stage games in the USA.
The players’ union, led by AFE president David Aganzo, are to firmly express their negative stance on the idea of LFP president Javier Tebas to play official Liga games during the regular season on foreign soil, an agreement that was reached between LaLiga and a US firm without consulting either AFE or the Spanish Football Federation, which is also against the plan. AFE has already voiced its opposition and on Wednesday will lay it out in writing, with the signatures of the 20 captains.
hope it works

Good to see, when it eventually happens in the PL all people will say is "ugh wus gunna 'apen sooner or later" before resting a chilled beer on their grossly overweight guts and sloppily pressing the buttons on the remote welded to a bunch of sausage fingers tuning them to the match taking place an ocean away.
Meanwhile an extortionate sum cuts itself free from the "supporters" bank account so more of the same can happen only hopefully more frequently.

Make a cup competition with major European clubs in the US. And I don't mean a pre-season friendly nothing Cup where reserves and youth play.
