Can We Keep a Clean Sheet on Saturday?

Exeter haven't scored away from home so far this season, in the league at least, but will they on Saturday? Or will the so far porous Wednesday rearguard shapen up? Vote 5 for 'yes' and 1 for 'no'.

Apologies in advance for the somewhat inane article, I'm just bored at work and have been staring at the league table..

You're not getting this are you....

Your words were that a realist should expect us to be able to get a point therefore suggesting to expect a win was unrealistic.

No??

Last season's game has nowt to do with owt. At home we're performing well THIS season & are unbeaten so to expect a win in this game is more than realistic.

We can't have optimism being put down as realism though can we, oh no. You'll be dragging out the happy clapper/blind faith lines next!

...and as for the dig it wasn't intended that way but if anybody reads your posts on here & doesn't think you're a little on the miserable/negative side when it comes to the Owls then they're on crack!

Being in Devon a friend of mine decided to invite me to the Exeter v Notts county game last tuesday I went and Exeter are not the same team we played last season they've lost Cureton and Harley and are lacking desperately in attacking Ideas they all seemed to be around 4' 6" in height (apart from Archibald-Henville who seemed to be the only aerial threat) when the balls on the floor they were nowhere near the passing team of last season they look low in confidence.

Unless we have a brainfart on the day cant see us losing to them but hey this is Wednesday after all.

Oh and speaking to a few of their fans this is a fixture they are dreading and that was despite last seasons 5-1 win at their gaff.

Just a bit of intel from what I've seen of both teams we could destroy Exeter on Saturday ... probably wont but we could

Exeter might concede easily, but we have to give them one first !

Devon - This sounds positive. We could do with hammering someone to get the goal difference sorted.

'We could do with hammering someone to get the goal difference sorted.'

True dat. Or, we could just stop letting goals in.

I vote 1 for no, simply because the partnership of Batth & Jones dosnt seem to be working, even though he is cpt i'd say drop jones and give Kasnik a chance, he's not even stepped up from the bench as yet. Anyone else agree? I just think that Jones is too slow and brandy turns quicker than him. I like the idea of Buxton being Cpt.

Mega Milan

I agree with dropping Jones but not sure how we can know if a player I wouldn't know if he passed me on the street is any better!

Reda is next in line and I think he might play, given his performance on Saturday. Jones may even be injured..

Well, in that case whats the point in him being here? just to make up numbers, not exactly fair on the lad. Not that I dont know what you are saying as ive never seen him either and it may be a bit of a gamble but theres only one way to find out what he can do....
