Question for you lot.
Which one of your own, a regular on this board, and on ours, said this about LUFC:
"Be quiet about this but I’ve no problem with Leeds being in with a shout this season, it’s healthy for the championship..."
Yeah, we love him too...
Baa baa black sheep!

Know the feeling Kamara
Harper I agree it's just the tactical battle between Pulis and Bielsa that interests me.
High pressing vs Pulis ball. Genuinely interested to see how a Bielsa team fares against one of the best route one mangers in the modern game. I'm surprised with the high pressing fashion of Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs etc. teams with lesser money haven't tried the hoof as a less risky way to counter this game. I think was it Watford that beat Liverpool last year playing this way?
I'm not a big fan of hoof but being pragmatic.

2W, to be fair, which I also commented on at the time, there was very little pulis ball on display in that match. Boro were knocking it about nicely in the middle and to the wings but there was very little bite at the end of it.

I think Pulis and Allardyce haven't been afraid to pass the ball it's more the hoof into the final third, knock down and then play. With Pulis it seems to be hoof, knock down, pass to the wings and then pepper the ball into the box.

Sorry Igor.
How would you rate Igor's early season form?
1 star = Our defending of Millwall's first goal against us.
2 star = Mason Mount level.
5 star = Waghorn's chip over the Hull keeper level.

Sorry meant to be 3 star = Mason Mount level, steady but showing promising signs.

Moving away from Igor slightly though is this a good time to debate Patrick Bamford's cameo against us?
It was comically bad bordering tragic. He seemed to come on, run very hard for him, nowhere in particular and give away fouls in a rich boy wanting to be Vinnie Jones kinda way.
If it was a Derby vs Forest game 0-0 and Forest needed to break up play against us and Patrick Bamford had strength I could see the logic in this but not sure winning 4-1 against us, this was the time or place for Paddy tries to be a bad boy.
Has he played better since? I always thought he looked quite good in a black and white shirt not sure why his career hasn't really lived up to the early promise.

Wellies yup I know what you mean. Jury is still out on Bamford, he has a touch & knows where the net is, can score with head & both feet but under Bielsa needs to knuckle down. Issue he has is that Roofe has found some imspiring form. Think maybe cos Bielsa has played him up front on his own, which he is reveling in & he always said is his best position. Bamford needs game time but with the form Roofe is in, the only way he will get a good run if Roofe gets an injury
