Full credit to their manager for sticking by a more than competent keeper in Navas whose had to deal with speculation over being replaced since inheriting Casillas' position.
How long before Courtois angles for his "dream" move to PSG?

Wouldn't be surprised if he does. He's been brilliant for them and they love him there. Also they only paid £35 million for Courtois so there's less pressure to play him as it was far from a big fee for what keepers go for now. Doubt Tibo was expecting to sit on the bench but he might have to get used to it.

Amid all the DDG, Courtois, Kepa speculation, it's gone a little under the radar how much Navas has improved in Real's goal. He's their Cudicini, brought in as an OK backup and has gotten better and better every year.
Hope he keeps it. He deserves to play, and Courtois deserves to rot on the bench

Navas was poor last season and will lose his place eventually. Courtois will play in the CL and Copa Del Rey and his performances will eventually earn him a regular starting XI position before the end of the year
