Supporting your team is different from an arrogant expectation of 3 points before we have played the match. An attitude that may ave crept into some of the players after all the Old Trafford praise they received this week.
I know there are a few here that love cheerleading and being positive but can’t help but SOME are behaving with blind arrogance. Exactly like the fans we usually have a dig at.
We have won FA!! It’s the same attitude that sees us lose games we should be winning.
I’m not blaming the players too much but Watford have won 3 in a row prior to the game and they were at home. As soon as they started showing some fight we came up short.
Looking forward to gettting some steel (Wanyama) back in our midfield when we come against similar opposition.

The only saving grace for me was that I watched the game with a mate whos a big West Ham fan and on the final whistle he was quick to remind me that theres always someone whos worse off that yourself.

I’m a very positive spurs fan; but I’m afraid that performance was absolutely unacceptable. I just cannot believe that yet again we have failed to back up a big win with a bread and butter win. Another chance to go top. It’s not like we were unlucky. We simply didn’t show up. Really really poor today

New players would not have made the slightest bit of difference if you have three central defenders that cannot defend set pieces. Unless you were going to replace Toby, Verts and Sanchez.

Spurs didnt actually score a goal. Watford gave them one. Moura tried doing a kane but its obvious he was nowhere near it. Clear OG. Moura disappeared when Watford got thuggish in the 2nd half, he doesnt suit games when they get physical tbh.
Like when Spurs beat a below par Madrid, after they lost to a relegation team the game before, some daft fans just got ahead of themselves.
United were a shambles and played Herrera as a CB and were generally awful, even by their recent standards, missing open goals etc.
The delusional fans took that as they'd won the league, which is kinda funny as Watford were 10 times better than United in the 2nd half.
One loss, no biggy, and plenty will drop points there.
Just funny how same planks are saying having better players off the bench wouldnt have changed a thing...
I think the team that gets its players out of the WC hangover fastest will be the teams that surge to the top. Having a better bench defo helps rest players and do that.
