Regrets? No it’s a good laugh isn’t it. Craig Levein ‘2018’
Crisis? What flooking crisis
Yesterday went some way to putting to bed any doubts the supporters had about Celtic’s ability with that squad to compete on 4 fronts with a supposedly resurgent Rangers who were doing miraculous things under Steven Gerrard.
That was every bit as dominant as last season, now, whether Rangers played into our hands by sitting deep or not, that was a doing we fished out yesterday, we absolutely bullied them once more and showed why technically we are still on a different level.
In defence we quite clearly have the best centre half in Dedryck Boyata who has taken his game to another level since the World Cup, terrific performance from him.
Midfield isn’t really up for debate is it, Brown is miles ahead but Ntcham is different gravy, that boy will be a bigger loss to this club than Dembele when he goes and I really mean that, I’m dreading losing him. His ability on the ball, composure, work rate and passing ability is unbelievable for a kid at 22 years old.
Up top I actually thought Morelos had a decent game for Rangers again but he does lack a bit of quality in front of goal. Lafferty is a diddy, a few goals against us for Hearts doesn’t mask that. I felt Eddy had a decent game for 50 minutes but he tired badly which is understandable.
Listen, the goal itself should have been stopped at the beginning as it is a foul, after that though it’s a wonderful counter attacking move and finished off by Ntcham. The ref was brutal all day, Brown was booked for a nothing tackle, Morelos could and should have had 2 yellows and been off, McGregor should have been off and obviously the FK that led to the goal, he’s such a poor referee I’ve no idea why he still gets the big games.
Pleased for Rodgers yesterday, had to put up with some amount of nonsense lately from everyone but he’s come through it 4 points clear of Rangers already and just 3 behind Hearts at the top. Worth remembering that team yesterday didn’t have 1 new player in it. With Benkovic, Mulumbu, Arzani and Morgan still to play a part, it goes to show we’re still far and away the best team in the country.
A decent wee break for the international games now and we can sit back and look forward to the St Mirren game 1 week on Friday
Meanwhile Rangers players and fans need to ponder their worst start to a premiership season for 29 years.
Pleasing, very flucking pleasing

Tavernier is absoultely terrified of Tierney both in attack and defence, he bottles it to try and take him on in attack, never gets to the byeline always turns back and passes or crosses from deep and cannot get near him when defending.

Wouldn't disagree especially defending. Attacking wise i thought it more came down to how far he had to travel to take him on because of how deep we were, he had quite a bit of success doing it and whipping balls in second half when we pushed up
Imo he's a right winger.

When did that happen?! What success?!

Second half i thought was pretty even. Celtic deserved the win on the balance of play but wouldn't have got it if the free kick had been given for the foul on jack, he took away his standing leg on the follow through so was a definite foul.

I think a ball was crossed so strongly that it reached the opposite winger
That counts as success doesn't it???

Mind the celebration of the 18yard throw in at Hampden?
I suspect it was something similar yesterday

Context is important guys. Faither said "never gets to the byeline always turns back and passes or crosses from deep"
Tavernier had success in getting to the byeline and to get crosses in round Tierney.
The crosses were schite

I thought Tavernier put in some decent crosses yesterday.
Arfield was like a fan who won a raffle, never rated him at Falkirk and if anything he looks worse now.
That boy Kent must be having nightmares about Tierney tonight.

Well, something else you’re wrong about then-you’ve got me filtered so all that means is you can’t see my witty, intelligent and on point ripostes. I can see every bit of cack you still type.
And you’ve kind of ballsed up your own point then-he had no success with his crossing. Stop Tavernier from getting forward and he’s impotent.

Jack, Arfield and Ejaria looked completely lost up against Brown, Ntcham and Rogic
Did you notice with about 15/20 minutes to go they started to try niggle at Brown to get a reaction, probably to try get him a second yellow? He just laughed and got back on with the game, no daft challenges after Lafferty's dive

Arfield has been atrocious. If we wanted a headless chicken in midfield why did we loan out Docherty. They are the same player.
I thought Kent did alright to be honest. Tierney threatened a lot but off the top of my head don't remember him creating much.
