As ever, it's easy to look at these things from the outside and say it's harsh.
I don't think you're seeing many St Mirren fans arguing against this sacking, which is telling.
Apparently he's alienated himself from the dressing room and destroyed the positive atmosphere at the club. His first message to the team when he was appointed was that they weren't good enough - doesn't set a good tone for a team riding high after winning the league.
I'd suggest it's a brave move from St Mirren and potentially the right one.

Interesting comments Ivan. A pal of mine who supports St Mirren thinks it's ridiculous to sack him at this early stage but I don't know what the general view is.
