Amir Khan is back in action this weekend against a fighter that will last longer than 1 minute.Hopefully. Khan will be hoping for an impressive display before he targets a world title or one of the bigger names in the division. I think it goes without saying but Khan cannot afford a slip up at this point in his career especially against an opponent like Samuel Vargas and I expect him to put on a professional performance. The rest of the card is fairly dull but the biggest fight of the night is undoubtedly Garcia vs Porter on Showtime for the WBC welterweight title. It's a fascinating clash and It has the makings of a fight of the year candidate. I'd give the edge to Porter because of his work rate and volume but Garcia excels against guys that come forward and his back foot ability is massively underrated.

Although, that's if Canelo possess the same power/strength post meat gate, then we in for another blockbuster.

Khan thinks he’s fooling the world but in reality he’s fooling nobody. For arguments sake let’s say he faces and beats an over-the-hill Pacqiuao for the belt, do you really expect him to voluntarily defend it against Brook? Hell no, he’ll turn around and say:
‘He needs to earn his shot’
‘I’m a champ and he isn’t’
‘What does he bring to the table?’
‘80/20 split take it or leave it’
As for GGG and Canelo, I’m backing GGG on this one. He’s looking and sounding more menacing than ever! I can see a stoppage in 10/11
