Fellow Bears......

Please do not give Hector the satisfaction of getting in a debate. Im not claiming to be holier than thou but this guy is below contempt. His bitterness knows no bounds.

Dukey

And the rest, the obscure former players?

=====

yes if they have kicked a ball for the club then yes they deserve a tribute when they pass.

It offers a great opportunity for the good folk of Scotland no matter who they support to come together and show respect...

Duke

Pretty sure that there are players that "have kicked a ball for the club " that got hee-haw from Ranjurs because they were unfortunate enough not to croak anytime near a derby!!

Im not sure but there have been a number at other games if they miss anyone then thats poor.

Everyone deserves it and I know all Celtic fans are proud to stand and show respect with their Glasgow brothers no matter how often its 60 seconds of dignity from 2 great supports

Just got in from work and had a read at this thread...

Hector, you seem to question why remember two fans who died in Ibrox at the OF yesterday. My understanding is that the OF game just happened to be the game being played closest to the date of the deaths.

You also seem to think that 50years is too long to remember people. Football is supposed to be a family activity, do you suppose that the two lads who died may have had a family? and maybe that family still follow Rangers and may even attend Ibrox - the place where two of their relatives tragiclly died?

Seems pretty simple to me
